Norelco Philips Beard Trimmer 5000 BT5785/40 – Waterproof, BeardSense, 40 Length Settings

Elevate your grooming routine with the Norelco 5000

The Philips Norelco Beard Trimmer 5000 Series BT5785/40 is designed for precise facial hair styling. With 40 length settings in 0.2 mm steps, you can tailor your look from subtle stubble to a well-defined beard without guessing. The self-sharpening full metal blades keep their edge over time, and you don’t need blade oil to maintain performance. A thoughtful balance of power and control helps you shape your unique style with confidence, whether you’re at home, traveling, or crafting a daily routine.

BeardSense technology is the standout behind the trim. It scans beard density 125 times per second and adjusts power to denser areas, helping you achieve even results across the entire beard. When you’re done, the facial hair mess collector captures up to 80% of trimmed hairs, making cleanup noticeably easier. The trimmer is engineered for comfort and handling, featuring an ergonomic grip and a 360-degree Fine Line design that helps you maneuver around contours with ease.

Versatility is built in with a full set of attachments: Lift & Trim short and long beard combs, contouring fading combs, and a dedicated detail trimmer. Everything fits into a soft storage pouch, so your grooming kit stays organized. The BT5785/40 runs on a USB-A powered lithium battery with up to 100 minutes of cordless runtime and includes a charging stand that provides a quick 5-minute power boost for a single trimming session. The device is 100% waterproof, allowing for easy rinsing under tap water and straightforward maintenance after use. For long-term reliability, the trimmer comes with a warranty of up to 5 years upon registration, underscoring its durability and design for daily use.

Two practical ways to use it

• Precise shaping for a defined neckline, cheek lines, or mustache with 0.2 mm step increments.
• Seamless transitions between stubble lengths using the adjustable combs for a cohesive look.

In real-life scenarios, you’ll notice how the density-aware power helps when growing a fuller beard or trimming a stubborn area, while the mess collector reduces post-trim cleanup. The waterproof design makes it easy to rinse the head after use, and the included charging stand ensures you’re ready for your next grooming session. This trimmer aims to support your daily routine with practical features rather than making promises, giving you the flexibility to explore your preferred style with minimal downtime.
